The table shows the median income of citizens of eight different European countries.

Overall, the average income rose in four of the countries (Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg and Poland). In Netherlands, it stayed the same and in three countries (Greece, Italy, and United Kingdom) it went down.

In terms of countries that increase, Poland increase the most (22%), while second was Luxemboug (17%). Austria and Belgium both increase by around 14% (13% and 15% respectively).

There are counties that does not change. Netherlands stays the same in 2008 and 2013- with an average income of 29,000 dollars.

The final three countries saw a decreasing trend. The largest decrease was in Greece. It went from 23,000 to 20,000. Very similar was Italy, which shrank by 12%. Finally, the average income of the United Kingdom also shrank.
