The table presents the yearly wage per capita of 8 different European countries over a five year period. Units are measured in United States dollars.
Overall, four countries (Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg and Poland) recorded an increase in their annual income. Three countries saw a decline in their yearly wage (Greece, Italy and The United Kingdom),whiles The Netherlands remained the same. It is remarkable to note that, Poland had a significant increase in their percentage growth and Greece decreased drastically.
With regards to increase in the annual income, Poland witnessed a significant increase over the period with a 22% growth from $18000 to $22000.Of the 3 countries,Belgium experienced the second largest percentage growth at 15% followed by Austria at 13%
Over the period, Greece saw a significant decline in their yearly average income as their figure dropped from $23000 to $20000,a $3000 difference.Both Italy and The United Kingdom witnessed a decline in their annual percentage growth of -12% and -4% respectively.The Netherlands was the only country that remained the same over the 5year period.
