Exams are an important tool to measure the knowledge acquired in the school years, especially for the secondary school time when adolescents are being prepare for an adult life, maybe for a job or for the university, I agree that they should have regular tests before continuing to higher level of education.
The best way to prove that a student has understood and learned about a certain topic is thru evaluation, this might be practical or academic, but both of them counts as an exam. And is also the best way of ensure that the student had enough reading, searching and studying about that topic and it might be a knowledge for a lifetime.
Obviously, not every class it will be liked for every student but to get to know each of them is the only way for an adolescent to find out what kind of professional want to be in the future and is thru test that they can prove they had enough awareness about certain matter and it also give them a sense of responsibility in life, because this is how people understand that they need preparation if they want to succeed and achieve something in life.
In conclusion, the regular exams are needed not only in the academic life of any person but in the adult life where being responsible and had enough wise to make important decisions are essential things that we learn since we are children, and one of the best ways to learn about it is by putting ourselves to test.

Nice Wendy ????
+ Good introduction: however make your position directly related to the IELTS question.
+ Good structure: 2 paragraphs showing why you agree.
+ Lots of good vocabulary
– “being prepare for an adult life” = “being prepared for adult life”
– Be careful with your spelling: “thru” = “through”
– Remember to put the subject of a sentence: “And is also” (“And it is also”)
– Your second body paragraph is one huge sentence. Try to break this down into separate sentences. It’s also not clear what your main idea is in this paragraph.
