A way to compare two things.
“I find hot weather much more pleasant than cold weather.”
A fluent way to say that you don’t prefer hot weather more than cold weather.

“I’d take hot weather over cold weather any day.”
Do you prefer hot or cold weather?
Definitely hot weather. I’ve never understood people who prefer being in cold weather. I really notice a big change in my mood depending on the weather. When it’s warm in the summer, I have a lot more energy and optimism about the world. When it’s cold, I much prefer spending my time indoors, reading or watching series. Unfortunately, now I live in Scotland, which has a pretty cold and wet climate and very long winters.
