The outdoor sport I will talk about is cyclocross, It is a cycling discipline that consists of riding on a difficult countryside road. I have always liked riding, but, due to my multiple obligations, I have had never the opportunity to have a go doing it. Besides to practise it you need a specially tailored bicycle., more often than not is quite expensive.
Since my early childhood, I have had a diversity of bikes, not expensive I have to say, but tis sport has been a thing I have always enjoyed, since it gives me a sense of freedom from my parents, that said i daresay that i have ad a bunch of injuries when riding around the city
This outdoor sport is most of the time practised in the countryside as I said. Those places are usually close to the rainforests, most of the time in demanding climates, deserts, wet rainforests or rainy environments.
Cyclosross is not an easy sport to practice, if you have an athletic body, or previous training in riding it could be easier to do, but it is not the first choice when you take a bicycle. You need a lot of visual skills, strong shoulders and nor fear of injuries, so long as you fall from the bike, you will need to continue quickly on the road in order to prevent any crashes from other riders.
I would do it because I love being in touch with nature, and feel the adrenaline rush when you are riding along a wet downhill road. It is, furthermore, very demanding, so you need to be well-prepared mentally and physically.
I reckon that I am not still well prepared to get on the cyclocross circuit, since I need to improve my shoulders and arms strength by doing more lifts at the gym, as well as improve my legs resistance by running every day, but as soon I feel in the better physical condition I will not delay my first try doing cyclocross, at the same time I am saving money to be able to buy this cyclocross I have just seen a week ago in the “specialized” store.
