I would like to talk about Kite Surfing. I arrived in the Cayman Islands in May of 2019 with the checklist of experiencing all of the water sports they offer. Initially, I learned how to swim, and snorkel and even got an introductory course in diving. I reckon that anything can be learned with a smooth process and the people around you support you in whatever you do. Kite surfing, I believe is not an easy outdoor sport to learn, you need to get a coach to teach you how to balance on your surfboard, get the correct size of the kite that matches your weight, and a lot of stuff to consider especially the weather. Cayman’s weather is unpredictable and could ruin a surfing plan. The wind is the most important part of Kite surfing as it is the one that fuels your ride. I can imagine how fun it would be if my friends would join me in that experience.
