I am going to talk you about the sport I would like to try for first time, it is climb, I never try to do that despite in my home country is popular, because we have a lot of mountains especially in the region where I was born and grew up, the Andes in Colombia. Perhaps, it is my main motivation to being into climb, then, I would like to make an effort for my first attempt in this kind of sport on the most representative mountain close to the place where I grew up. It is the Sierra Nevada del Cocuy, this place is in the middle of nowhere, so the way to go is on bus or in a private car, but the best option is to use the public transport, so, there is a bus from Bogota (the Capital to Colombia) to go to the town close the mountain that I referred before, this transport service is available one time per day. Many people suggested this option, because it is the best way to be safe in this long journey, the rote is quite complex, and the trip take 9 or 10 hours, but despite this the landscape that you can find throughout the trip is astonishing and unique. I know well this rote because I have been joined some people that come to make this adventure when I visited my grandmother on December the last year, she is living in a farm close to el Cocuy. These people that I met are from different countries in the word, and they said to me, it is their second attempt to climb the Sierra. The first time when they try to climb this mountain was in the back dawn (Covid time), so they can access to this Natural Park, indeed was a completely upset for them. However, they never give up!, and decided to come back to fulfil this record in their sport lives in claiming, they showed to me their emotions and excitement to climb the Sierra, and another mountains in Colombia as well.
After that moment, I have been interested to climb, they inspired to me to do that for first time, and I completely motivated to try to climb the sierra in the near future, so I just started with my preparation to do this great adventure in the mountain I used to see where I grew up for first time.
