Overall, the annual income rose in four countries( Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Poland), three countries experienced a decrease (Greece, Italy, and UK), and the figures for Netherlands remained constant. It is also noteworthy that the highest income earned by people in Luxembourg in both years, while the lowest earnings were in Poland in 2008 and in Greece in 2013.
When analyzing the nations that showed a rise in salary in 2013, Luxembourg had the greatest figures during the given periods in both years, and a 17% growth was in the final year. By contrast, inhabitants in Poland became the last in the list in 2008 with 18000 dollars; however, they had a 22% higher salary in 2013, the greatest growth among these eight countries. The other two nations, Austria and Belgium show a modest rise in salaries in 2013 as opposed to 2008, 13% and 15% increase respectively.
With regard to countries that experienced a decline in income in 2013, the largest drop of income was in Greece, approaching 13% decline ( 23,000 in 2008 and 20,000 in 2013), whereas the UK had a 4% decrease after 5 years. Italians had a modest loss in earnings, a drop of 12% in 2013.
Netherlands was the only country that had a constant figure even after 5 years in income, which was 29,000 dollars.
