The bar graph gives information on the quantity candidates, after completion of their bachelor degrees from one of the universities in the United Kingdom, registering for employment in four different industries ( Education, Retail, Finance, I.T.) in two years ( 2008 and 2018) and a prediction for 2028.

Overall, Education and Retail experienced the highest preference by the bachelor candidates to register in, in 2008, whereas their level of preference gradually decreased in 2018 and predicted ratios for both the fields even got lesser in 2028. For Finance and I.T. , the forecasted ratios in 2028 indicates the highest levels whereas its drops gradually in
2018 and 2008 respectively. Finance will be the top most priority by the graduates and I.T. is liked by the least graduated students for work in 2008.

Education and Retail showed higher ratios than the Finance and I.T. as far as registration for jobs was concerned :300 and 400 graduates in 2008. In 2018, the candidates showed 2nd preference on the bar graph, approximately 200 and 300 bachelors respectively. For a prediction regarding Education and Retail, in 2028, bachelors denoted third preference, almost 200 and 150 graduates respectively.

Finance and I. T. are predicted to be taking the lead among all the four zones, nearly 450 and 300 members respectively, in 2028. By contrast : 250 and 50 candidates respectively, in 2008. In 2018, they occupied their positions lower than the forecasted quantity of bachelors in 2028, and higher than estimated number of graduates, in 2008

  1. Hey Shehla,
Good answer. You are definitely getting better at task 1.
    + clear introduction
+ better overview (although this part is not clear: “Finance will be the top most priority by the graduates”. Maybe you could say “By 2028, finance will be the most popular sector for undergraduate students”
    + Good structure
    – Some of your vocabulary causes confusion: “and predicted ratios for both the fields even got lesser”, “bachelors denoted third preference”, “all the four zones”, “they occupied their positions”
In speaking, it is a good idea to use a lot of advanced vocabulary; however, for writing, it is important to be very clear. Keep practising- you are doing well!
