  1. I live in a spacious house in the south of the country. My house contains three bedrooms, a kitchen and a living room. My favourite place is the living room, where we spend memorable moments with family. Also my house is well ventilated so you can breathe in fresh air in the early morning. I live with my family.

    1. Your answer is great and well-structured. I couldn’t find any mistakes. You covered all topics: a brief location, a description of your house, your favourite place and who do you live with, which makes your answer complete. Keep up the good work!

  2. Well, I live in a house rather than an apartment, and it’s located in a semi-urban area of Tangail, which is under the Dhaka Division of Bangladesh.
It’s not a fancy, modern villa or anything, but it holds a lot of sentimental value for me. It’s a single-storey building with a tin roof and brick walls, surrounded by open fields and greenery. The air is fresh, and life feels peaceful there.

My house has four rooms in total—a living room, two bedrooms, and a kitchen. The living room is where we usually hang out as a family. It’s not super spacious, but it’s cozy, and the walls are filled with family photos and memories. We also have a small veranda in front where I often sit in the evening to relax or chat with neighbors.

One of the things I love most about my house is the backyard. It’s not huge, but it has a few mango trees and enough space for gardening. During summer, the mangoes are the highlight—sweet, juicy, and totally homegrown!

Even though the house is quite traditional, it’s comfortable. We don’t have luxury furniture or high-end appliances, but we live simply and happily. Of course, I dream of upgrading in the future—maybe building a two-storey home with modern design. But this house will always have a special place in my heart because it’s where I’ve grown up and created countless memories with my family.

    1. I can’t see any mistakes in your answer. You’ve given a detailed, well-structured and personal response to the question, painting a vivid picture of your home. You’ve also used a good range of vocabulary and complex sentence structures, which is great. Keep it up!

  3. Well. I live in a large appargment which is situated in the outskirts of Ishwardi upazilla. The bedrooms are extremely large to accomodate beds and other accesories. Kitchen is also spacious enough to cook easily. Most important thing is that bathrooms are extraordinary and beautiful. I am lucky to have a balcony where i Usually dry my clothes and enjoy fresh air.

    1. Thanks for your contribution. Here’s a corrected version of your response:

“Well, I live in a large apartment, which is located on the outskirts of the Ishwardi upazilla. The bedrooms are extremely spacious, enough to accommodate beds and other accessories. The kitchen is also large enough for cooking easily. The most important thing is that the bathrooms are extraordinary and beautiful. I’m lucky to have a balcony where I usually dry my clothes and enjoy the fresh air.”

Here are some points to work on:

      1. The word “apartment” was misspelled in your response. Remember to double-check for spelling errors.
      2. Be mindful of punctuation. Use commas where applicable and always capitalize the pronoun “I”.
      3. The pronoun ‘i’ should always be in uppercase, regardless of where they fall in a sentence.

  4. I live in a small flat on the outskirts of Presidente Prudente. It’s a very charming and cosy flat, perfect to receive guests, but I live alone. There are one bedroom, a tiny kitchen and a living room with a balcony. I usually spend most of my time at home in my bedroom.

    1. Hi there! Your answer is quite good, but there’s a small mistake. When referring to singular items, like in your sentence “There are one bedroom,” use “is” instead of “are.” Here’s the corrected version of your answer:

“I live in a small flat on the outskirts of Presidente Prudente. It’s a very charming and cosy flat, perfect for receiving guests, but I live alone. There is one bedroom, a tiny kitchen, and a living room with a balcony. I usually spend most of my time at home in my bedroom.”

      Keep up the good work!

  5. Well, I live in a beautiful old apartment on the kasimpur of Gazipur City. It’s a relatively large apartment, which i share with my parents. There are two bedrooms ,a living rooms ,a dining room,a balcony and open plan kitchen. My favourite place is the balcony where I spend most of the free time.

    1. Hi there! You provided a good response but there were a few minor errors and some room for improvement. Here’s a corrected version:

“Well, I live in a beautiful, old apartment in the Kasimpur area of Gazipur City. It’s a relatively large apartment, which I share with my parents. There are two bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, a balcony, and an open plan kitchen. My favourite place is the balcony, where I spend most of my free time.”

      Let’s break down the corrections:
      – I’ve added a comma after ‘beautiful’ to correctly join the two adjectives describing the apartment.
      – Kasimpur and Gazipur City should be capitalized as they are proper nouns.
      – Be careful with pluralization; it should be ‘a living room’ not ‘a living rooms’.
      – Remember to add a space after commas to make your sentences more readable.

Keep practicing and you’ll keep improving!

  6. I live in a house in the capital of Jordan, Amman, it’s a relatively large house which I share it with my parents, it has 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 3 bathrooms, and a kitchen. It’s not a fancy house but I love it because I’ve spent most of my childhood in it and created tons of memories there. My favorite place in my house is my bedroom because I spend most of my free time there either reading or listening to music.

    1. Your answer is quite good and provides ample detail. There is just one minor grammatical error that needs to be corrected.

Corrected version: “I live in a house in the capital of Jordan, Amman. It’s a relatively large house which I share with my parents. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 3 bathrooms, and a kitchen. It’s not a fancy house, but I love it because I’ve spent most of my childhood in it and created tons of memories there. My favorite place in the house is my bedroom because I spend most of my free time there, either reading or listening to music.”

Remember, as a rule of thumb, if a statement can stand on its own (is a complete thought), you should split it into a new sentence. So in this case, “I live in a house in the capital of Jordan, Amman” and “It’s a relatively large house which I share with my parents,” could be two separate sentences. Keep up the good work!

  7. I live in a relatively large apartment in a Rural area in hama_syria in a residential Neighbourhood.
I shared a flat with my parents ,there are one bedroom and a comfortable living room , in addition to a small balcony overlooking the main street

    1. Thanks for your response. You did a nice job, but let’s correct a few things to make it even better:

“I live in a relatively large apartment in a rural area in Hama, Syria, in a residential neighbourhood. I share a flat with my parents. There is one bedroom and a comfortable living room, in addition to a small balcony overlooking the main street.”

      Issues to be rectified:

      1. Make sure you use appropriate capitalization: Rural, Neighbourhood, hama_syria should be written as rural, neighbourhood, Hama, Syria.
      2. Be mindful of your verb tenses: “I shared” implies past tense, while “there are” implies present. Stick to the present tense for this response as you’re talking about your current living situation.
      3. “There are” is used when describing multiple objects. Because you’re only talking about one bedroom, it should be “there is”.

      Keep practicing!

  8. I live in a standalone house in a tranquil and secure neighborhood. I stay with my uncle and his family. It is quite a spacious and beautiful family space. It has a total of 4 bedrooms, which are quite big. We have a lovely and well-maintained garden, which we hardly have time to enjoy because of work.

    1. You’ve given a great response! Your use of descriptive language paints a vivid picture. Just a few small corrections for you:

“I live in a standalone house in a tranquil and secure neighborhood. I live with my uncle and his family. It’s quite a spacious and beautiful family space. It has a total of four bedrooms, which are quite large. We have a lovely and well-maintained garden, which we hardly have time to enjoy due to work.”

I’ve replaced ‘stay’ with ‘live’ which is more commonly used in this context. Also, I’ve recommended using ‘due to’ instead of ‘because of’, as it fits better in this sentence. All in all, great job!

  9. I live in beautiful three BHK house in the outskirts of Calgary city. It’s relatively large, spacious living hall and open concept kitchen with a mini bar. My favorite place is a garden which has different plants, herbs, and an artificial pond. I usually spend most of my time in the garden with my wife. We do yoga and meditation in the morning. We also have tea and snacks together.

    1. Your answer was great overall, but there was a minor error. Here’s the corrected version:

“I live in a beautiful three BHK house on the outskirts of Calgary city. It’s relatively large, with a spacious living hall and an open concept kitchen with a mini bar. My favorite place is the garden which has different plants, herbs, and an artificial pond. I usually spend most of my time in the garden with my wife. We do yoga and meditation in the morning, and we also have our tea and snacks together there.”

Remember to use “a” before “beautiful three BHK house” and “on” before “the outskirts”. It’s also more natural to use “with” before “a spacious living hall.” Last but not least, “our” tea makes the statement more cohesive.

  10. I live in a cozy apartment on the outskirts of Vancouver, its on the 2nd floor of the building. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 washroom, a spacious living area where I spent most of my time. The kitchen has an open plan sitting with the dining area. Every room has its own balcony facing the street towards the east.

    1. You’ve done an excellent job with your response. There’s just one small correction. Instead of saying “where I spent most of my time”, you should say “where I spend most of my time”. So your corrected response should be:

“I live in a cozy apartment on the outskirts of Vancouver, it’s on the 2nd floor of the building. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 washroom, a spacious living area where I spend most of my time. The kitchen has an open plan, sitting with the dining area. Every room has its own balcony facing the street towards the east.”

      Keep up the good work!

  11. I live in a spacious house on the outskirts of Sydney, in the Lidcombe area. It’s a relatively large house which I share with another university student. There are two bedrooms, a living room and an open-plan kitchen, which is where I spend most of my time.

    1. Your description of your living situation is very clear and I can’t see any mistakes in your answer. It’s good that you specified your location and who you live with, as well as elaborating a little bit on your lifestyle by saying you spend most of your time in the kitchen. This gives a personal touch to your response. Keep practicing like this!

    1. Hello! I think there might have been a mistake, as you mentioned you were going to answer the question but ended up not giving any information about the house or apartment you live in. Can you please retry answering the question? Looking forward to hearing from you!

  12. Well, I live in a spacious house in a quiet residential area. It’s a bright and cheerful home that I share with my husband and our son. There are two cozy bedrooms,a comforatable living room, and two kitchens-one is fully equipped with moderen appliances, and the other is open-plan kitchen where I’ll usually spend most of my time.

    1. Your answer is nearly perfect, but there are a few small spelling and grammar errors. Here’s a corrected version for you:

“Well, I live in a spacious house in a quiet residential area. It’s a bright and cheerful home that I share with my husband and our son. There are two cozy bedrooms, a comfortable living room, and two kitchens—one is fully equipped with modern appliances, and the other is an open-plan kitchen where I usually spend most of my time.”

Remember, in English, you need to use the indefinite article “a” or “an” before singular count nouns, like “an open-plan kitchen”. Also, watch your spelling for words like “comfortable” and “modern”. Keep practicing and good luck with your studies!

  13. Will, I live in a rural, neighbourhood,Egypt. Its relativly large house which i live in it alone.
It has three bedrooms, quite large living room ,bathroom and a kitchen.
My favourite place is my bedroom, where i spend all of my time.

    1. Thanks for your response. You’ve done good, but here’s a slightly corrected version of your answer:

“Well, I live in a rural neighbourhood in Egypt. It’s a relatively large house where I live alone. It has three bedrooms, a quite large living room, a bathroom, and a kitchen. My favourite place is my bedroom, which is where I spend most of my time.”

Just watch out for the following errors:

      1. “Will” should be “Well” as you’re beginning an explanation.
      2. The sentence “Its relativly large house which i live in it alone” can be altered for clarity. You can just say, “it’s a relatively large house where I live alone.”
      3. Typographical or punctuation errors are common but can be avoided. Here, a missing preposition “in” between “rural” and “neighbourhood” as well as missing spaces after commas have been observed.

      Keep practicing!
