The table provides information about the daily consumption of fizzy drinks over a week of different countries the Uk adults in 2019. The countries included were England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and the drinks considered for the survey were Coca-cola, Pepsi, Fanta, Sprite, Irn-Bru.
Overall, the highest percentage of soft drink ingestion was by Scotland, while the least by Northern Ireland. The most popular drink was Coca-cola in most of the countries, whereas, Irn-Bru was highly used in Scotland. Other drinks such as Pepsi, Fanta and Sprite was consumed in small proportion by the citizens.
The total percentage of soft drinks uptaken by the Scotland population was the highest at 51% in contrast to the 39% used by Nortern Ireland. However, England and Wales consumed around 40% and 45% of the soft drinks. From the graph, it is evident that Coca-cola was used the most by England, Wales and Northern Ireland at 16%, 20% and 18% respectively, while only 11% of the Scotland people drank Coca-cola. On the other hand, 23% of the total adults of Scotland selected Irn-bur as their favorite, which was hardly chosen by other countries such as 4% by England, 6% by Waled, and 3% by Nortern Ireland.
While Coca-cola and Irn- bru was highly preferred by the people of these countries, the popularity of other drinks such as Pepsi, Fanta and Sprite was recorded the least below 10 .
