My house located in the heart of the city. I share it with my two sisters, brother and our great mother.

    1. Here is a corrected version of your answer: “Well, now I live in a spacious, calm house which consists of four floors. The first floor is used as a parking area for my brother’s cars. The second floor has an open-plan kitchen and living room that is very comfy. Actually, all family members spend the majority of their leisure time there because it has three vibrant chairs. The third floor is designed for sleeping only, and the last one is not used yet. My house is located in the heart of the city. I share it with my two sisters, brother and our wonderful mother.”

Here are some mistakes and ways to improve your answer:
      1. Be careful with spelling. For example, the correct spelling is “spacious” not “specious”.
      2. Don’t forget to use uppercase ‘I’ when referring to yourself.
      3. Use a colon or period after a complete independent clause that introduces a list. So, you should write “comfy: actually,” instead of “comfy. Actually,”.

  2. Well, I live in a spacious and calm apartment the neigthboor that I live in is very wonderfull and the weather in very lovely since my apartment is in the outskirt of the city , however my apartment conatin two large bedroooms and a comfy living room where I spend most of my time in reading a book or having a family time or even celebirate in a special events! and I have an open plan Kitchen where I use to drink my coffe to refresh my mind and build plans of my day.

    1. In your response, there are a few spelling and grammatical errors that need correcting. Here’s a revised version of your answer:

“Well, I live in a spacious and calm apartment. The neighborhood where I live is very wonderful, and the weather is very lovely since my apartment is in the outskirts of the city. However, my apartment contains two large bedrooms and a comfy living room. I spend most of my time there reading books, having family time, or even celebrating special events! I also have an open plan kitchen where I love to drink my coffee, which refreshes my mind and allows me to plan my day.”

      Mistakes:
      1. Spelling of ‘neighbour’ and ‘contain’ is wrong. It should be ‘neighbor’ and ‘contains’.
      2. Insert a full stop after ‘calm apartment’ to divide the sentence into more manageable pieces.
      3. ‘celebirate’ should be ‘celebrating’.

      Keep practicing!

        1. It seems like you forgot to include your answer to the question “Tell me about the house or apartment you live in.” However, regarding the phrase you wrote, I noticed a minor error you can improve on:

You should say: “Except for my grammatical errors, does my response need more explaining?”

Keep practicing and making adjustments. You’re improving every day!

  3. Well , I live in old apartment building at the heart of downtown of north bay Ontario, it’s has spacious apartments attached with two rooms , living room and bedroom which I share with my spouse .with an open-plan kitchen where I spent of most my time .

    1. Your answer is pretty good but it has a few errors. Here’s the corrected version:

“Well, I live in an old apartment building in the heart of downtown North Bay, Ontario. It has spacious apartments with two rooms – a living room and a bedroom that I share with my spouse. It also has an open-plan kitchen where I spend most of my time.”

Mistake 1: Use “an” before a word that starts with a vowel sound. So, it’s “an old apartment”.

Mistake 2: The alignment of the name of the place should be “downtown North Bay, Ontario”, not “downtown of north bay Ontario”.

Mistake 3: Instead of “it’s has”, use “it has”.

Mistake 4: “I spent” should be “I spend”.

      Keep practicing!

    1. I see a few minor mistakes that you can work on. Here’s the corrected response: “Well, I live in a flat that consists of two bedrooms, one living room, and a kitchen. I live there with my family.”

Here are the issues I spotted:
      1. The “i” should be capitalized.
      2. You should add a space after each comma.
      3. Remember to use “that” instead of “which” after “flat” as the information that follows it is essential to understand what you meant.

      Keep practicing! You’re doing great.

  4. Well,i live in one of the small flat at nakuru centre,Nakuru is capital city in the rift valley province,i live there with my family where its consist of two bedroom, one living room where i like spending most of my time and one open plan kitchen. There is a small garden at front of the house.

    1. Thanks for your answer. You’re doing quite well, but there are a few grammatical mistakes that I noticed. Here’s a corrected version of your answer:

“Well, I live in a small flat at Nakuru centre. Nakuru is a capital city in the Rift Valley province. I live there with my family. It consists of two bedrooms, one living room where I like spending most of my time, and one open plan kitchen. There’s a small garden at the front of the house.”

      Mistakes:
      1. “i” should always be capitalized as “I” when referring to yourself.
      2. Use “a” before “small flat”. It sounds more natural.
      3. Pluralize “bedroom” to “bedrooms” since there are more than one.

      Keep practicing!

    1. Your answer is good but there are a few spelling mistakes. Here is the corrected version.

“I live in a tiny apartment, which I share with another student. It has two bedrooms, one kitchen, and a balcony. It is in the centre of the city.”

      1. Make sure to use proper spacing after punctuation. There should be a space after each comma.
      2. Pay attention to spelling. “woth” should be “with” and “bakcony” should be “balcony”.
      3. Don’t forget to capitalize the pronoun “I”.

      Keep practicing!

  5. Well, I live in a small apartment in a medium-sized residence building in District 7, a southern part of Ho Chi Minh City, and I have spent about 5 years here. I’d like to begin by saying that it’s a lovely homestay in light with spectacular views of a romantic lake called Crescent, a strange-looking Bridge in the shape of stars. On top of that it is perfectly located in a sub-urban area, which is surrounded by public infrastructures, so it takes me only five minutes to go on foot from my apartment to my workplace. The open greenly space and peaceful atmosphere in the building provides the resident people with relaxation, comfort, and tranquil. Finally, I shouldn’t forget to mention that it offers vivid examples of contemporary architecture. Actually, some of its office blocks are painted in modern colors and decorated with crystal materials, which gives the feeling of spacious and well-equipped working environment. Briefly speaking, the longer I live here, the more I enjoy this living environment.

    1. The student’s answer is quite good overall, but there are a few minor mistakes and awkward phrases. Here’s a corrected version:

“Well, I live in a small apartment in a medium-sized residential building in District 7, a southern part of Ho Chi Minh City, and I’ve been here for about 5 years. I’d like to start by saying that it’s a lovely place to live in, with spectacular views of a romantic lake called Crescent and a uniquely shaped bridge that looks like stars. On top of that, it’s perfectly located in a suburban area and is surrounded by public infrastructure, so it only takes me five minutes to walk from my apartment to my workplace. The open green space and peaceful atmosphere of the building provide the residents with a sense of relaxation, comfort, and tranquility. Finally, I can’t forget to mention that it’s a vivid example of contemporary architecture. In fact, some of the office blocks are painted in modern colors and decorated with crystal materials, which create a spacious and well-equipped working environment. To sum it up, the longer I live here, the more I enjoy this living environment.”

In your speaking response, here are few things to watch out for:

      1. Use “residential building” instead of “residence building”.
      2. Instead of saying “in light with”, say “with”.
      3. Ensure subject-verb agreement – “provides” instead of “provides”.

      Keep practicing!

  6. Well, I live in spacious house in small town . It’s a relative large house, which I share with my partner and my dog. There are four bedrooms, two bathroom, one toilet, one garage and kitchen where we spend most of the time. The kitchen has a double glass door, we can see a beautifull garden, with nice flowers and overlook a enormous green land.

    1. Your answer is pretty solid, but there are a few corrections to improve your grammar. Here’s your corrected version:

“Well, I live in a spacious house in a small town. It’s a relatively large house, which I share with my partner and my dog. There are four bedrooms, two bathrooms, one toilet, one garage, and a kitchen where we spend most of our time. The kitchen has a double glass door; we can see a beautiful garden with nice flowers and it overlooks an enormous green land.”

      Mistakes:
      1. You need to use “a” before “spacious house” and “small town.”
      2. It should be “relatively” not “relative” when describing the size of your house.
      3. Don’t forget the “s” at the end of “bathrooms,” and use “it” to refer back to the kitchen’s view.

Keep practicing, you’re doing great so far!

  7. Well, I live in a charming old flat located on the outskirts of Muscat. It’s a small but cosy space that I share with my wife and two children. The flat has two bedrooms, and a living room and an open plan kitchen, which is actually where I spend most of my time, either cooking or chatting with my family. There is also a small balcony that overlooks the main street-it’s a great spot to enjoy a cup of tea in the evenings or simply watch the world go by.
