  1. I live in a tiny house with four floors in district 10 in HCM city. There are four rooms. The living room is quite bright where my family gather every evening, a open-plan kitchen where my mom usually cooks and two bed room one for my parents and one for me which I share with my brother.

    1. Your response: “I live in a tiny house with four floors in District 10 in HCM city. There are four rooms. The living room is quite bright, that’s where my family gathers every evening. There’s also an open-plan kitchen where my mom usually cooks, and there are two bedrooms – one for my parents and one that I share with my brother.”

      Mistakes:
      1. When referring to a place (like District 10), capitalize both words as it is a proper noun.
      2. Remember to use punctuations like commas to avoid run-on sentences. It’s also needed for clarity in your statements.
      3. In ‘a open-plan kitchen’, the article ‘a’ should be replaced with ‘an’ because ‘open’ starts with a vowel sound. Always use ‘an’ before words that begin with vowel sounds.

    2. Well, I live in a small house on the outskirts of Perambalur in Tamil Nadu. It’s quiet small house where I live with my family. There’s is a two bedrooms and a kitchen where I spend most of my time.

      1. Thank you for your answer. Now, let’s make a few corrections:

“Well, I live in a small house on the outskirts of Perambalur in Tamil Nadu. It’s a quite small house where I live with my family. There are two bedrooms and a kitchen where I spend most of my time.”

        1. Use “quite” instead of “quiet”. “Quiet” usually refers to the level of noise.
        2. “There are” is the correct form to use when talking about more than one thing (like ‘two bedrooms’). “There is” is only used for singular objects.

Keep practicing! These small changes will make your answers clearer and more accurate.

  2. I currently live in a tiny house with 4 floors in dictrict 10 in HCM city. It’s has a bright living room which is where my family often gather every evening, an open-plan kitchen where my mom usually cooks ever she sees a new food when she surfs on Facebook and 2 bedrooms, one for my parents and one for me which I share with my brother.

    1. Your answer is quite nice, but there are just a few errors to correct. Here’s your corrected answer: “I currently live in a tiny four-storey house in District 10 of HCM city. It has a bright living room where my family often gathers every evening, an open-plan kitchen where my mom usually cooks whenever she finds a new recipe on Facebook, and two bedrooms. One is for my parents and the other is shared by my brother and me.”

      Here are the corrections:
      1. “It’s has” should be “It has” as you are trying to describe what your home has.
      2. “every evening” should come after “often”.
      3. “ever she sees a new food” should be “whenever she finds a new recipe”.
Keep practicing and soon these mistakes will disappear. Good job!

  3. Well, I live in a cosy house on the outskirts of Kaskelen, in Kazakhstan. It’s a quiet small house where I live with my family – a husband and two children. There’s a living room, a bedroom and a kitchen where I spend of my time.

    1. Your answer is mostly correct and already conveys your message well, however, there were minor issues with preposition use and how you described the amount of time spent in the kitchen. Here is a corrected version:

“Well, I live in a cosy house on the outskirts of Kaskelen, in Kazakhstan. It’s a quiet, small house where I live with my family – a husband and two children. There’s a living room, a bedroom, and a kitchen where I spend most of my time.”

Remember to use the right preposition (“on” instead of “in” for outskirts) and to be clear when describing time periods (use “most of” instead of “of”). Keep it up!

  4. Well, I live in a modern apartment in the center of Cairo.
It’s a relatively bright and cheerful apartment which I share it with my family
There are 3 bedrooms , a living room and an open plan kitchen which is where I spend most of my day

    1. Your answer is mostly correct, but there’s a small error in the structure of one sentence. Here’s the corrected version:

“Well, I live in a modern apartment in the center of Cairo. It’s a relatively bright and cheerful apartment which I share with my family. There are 3 bedrooms, a living room, and an open plan kitchen where I spend most of my day.”

      Mistake:
      1. In the sentence, “It’s a relatively bright and cheerful apartment which I share it with my family.”, the word “it” is not necessary after “share”. The correct sentence is, “It’s a relatively bright and cheerful apartment which I share with my family.”

      Keep up the good work!

  5. I live in an apartment with my wonderful family. We have 3 bedrooms, a kitchen and a balcony. Balcony is the favourite part of my house because I love to spend time standing in the balcony and enjoy the outside view

    1. Your answer is almost perfect, just one minor correction needed:

“I live in an apartment with my wonderful family. We have 3 bedrooms, a kitchen and a balcony. The balcony is my favourite part of the house because I love to spend time standing there and enjoying the outside view.”

      Mistake to note:
      1. Remember to use articles where needed, for example, “The balcony is…” instead of “Balcony is…”
      Keep up the good work!

  6. Well, currently I’m sharing a flat with my younger brother. It’s a rather small flat which is in the suburbs of Phnom Penh city. To be honest, I sometimes feel that it’s quite cramped because of the fact that it’s small. I wish I lived a bigger apartment, but I can’t afford it at the moment.

    1. Your answer is great! However, there is a minor error in your sentence structure. Let’s correct it:

“Well, currently I’m sharing a flat with my younger brother. It’s a rather small flat, which is in the suburbs of Phnom Penh city. To be honest, I sometimes feel that it’s quite cramped because of the fact that it’s small. I wish I lived in a bigger apartment, but I can’t afford it at the moment.”

Remember, whenever you are describing where you live (like “a bigger apartment”), always use the preposition “in”. It was a minor mistake, keep practicing and you will get better!

  7. I live in beautiful house in the city centre of Alvorada. It`s a large house which I share with my dad and my brother. There are three bedrooms, an open-plan living room where I spend most of my time studying, a nice kitchen where my dad likes to try new recipes and a nice yard where my brother plays with our dog.

    1. Your answer is almost perfect, great job! Just one small correction:

“I live in a beautiful house in the city centre of Alvorada. It’s a large house which I share with my dad and my brother. There are three bedrooms, an open-plan living room where I spend most of my time studying, a nice kitchen where my dad likes to try new recipes, and a nice yard where my brother plays with our dog.”

Remember to use an article (“a”) before describing singular countable nouns (“a beautiful house”). And be careful with punctuation, use an apostrophe instead of a backtick (`) with the contraction “it’s”. Keep practicing!

  8. I live in an old apartment in the outskirts of Wellington. It consists of seven bed rooms, three washrooms and a common kitchen that i share with seven other flatmates.

    1. Your answer is quite good, but one minor mistake to correct is the use of “bed rooms” instead of “bedrooms”. Also, ensure you consistently use capital letters in pronouns. “I” should be capitalized. Here’s the corrected version:

“I live in an old apartment in the outskirts of Wellington. It consists of seven bedrooms, three washrooms, and a common kitchen that I share with seven other flatmates.”

  9. Well, I live in a small and cosy house, which is in a residential neighborhood of Mithi. I stay up with my parents in our house. There are 3 bedrooms, an open kitchen, and also a spacious area where i spend most of my time.

    1. Your response is quite good, just a minor correction needed. Here’s the revised version:

“Well, I live in a small, cosy house in a residential neighborhood of Mithi. I stay with my parents in our house. There are three bedrooms, an open kitchen, and also a spacious area where I spend most of my time.”

In your response, you used “I stay up with my parents” which is incorrect. The correct phrase is “I stay with my parents”.

Good job on providing clear and concise details about your house! Keep it up!

  10. Well, currently I live in a highschool dormitory in 7th District, situated here in Budapest. I share my room with three classmates. They are lovely and I am truly grateful for them. We get along. However there are some disadvantages to having roommates. It makes it a bit more difficult to create my own space. The room we have is not so spacious, yet it is well-fitted to our needs. Each of us has their own bed, wardrobe and desk. With right space management and daily cleaning it does become cozy and comfortable. Regarding the bathroom and kitchen, they are shared among 20 to 24 girls on the same floor. Sometimes it gets a bit tricky with all of the girls but we manage. I do believe however, that living in dorm gives a special life experience

    1. Your response is very good and clear! You have given a vivid description of your living conditions. However, there are a few minor mistakes that we should correct. Here’s the revised version of your response:

“Well, currently I live in a high school dormitory in the 7th District, situated here in Budapest. I share my room with three classmates. They are lovely and I am truly grateful for them. We get along. However, there are some disadvantages to having roommates. It makes it a bit more difficult to create my own space. The room we have is not so spacious, yet it is well-fitted to our needs. Each of us has their own bed, wardrobe, and desk. With the right space management and daily cleaning, it becomes cozy and comfortable. Regarding the bathroom and kitchen, they are shared among 20 to 24 girls on the same floor. Sometimes it gets a bit tricky with all of the girls but we manage. I do believe, however, that living in a dorm gives a special life experience.”

      Mistakes:
      1. “highschool” should be corrected to “high school”. It’s usually written as two separate words.
      2. “With right space management” should be revised to “With the right space management”. “The” is necessary to make the sentence grammatically correct.
      3. You missed the comma after “I do believe”. It’s better to add it here for easier reading. Keep it up!

  11. I live in a spacious and modernly built house on the north-eastern part of Waroona. The house has 4 big bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen and living space, and a study room. I quite like this extra room and this is where I spend most of my time, where I do reading, journaling, crafting and so on. Outside, we have a huge patio, which is a plus for me. Also, the property comes with a spacious workshop, a decent-sized lawn area and garden space where my husband plants some vegetables.

    1. Your response is great, I can’t see any mistakes in your answer. You provided detailed, descriptive information that answered the question fully. You maintained a consistent tense and your vocabulary and grammar were excellent. Keep up the good work!
