  1. I live in a extravagant spacious house in a residential area of the Philippines. It is modern and stylish place to live in, I live with my husband and son. It has 4 Bedrooms, a functional kitchen, a comfortable living room and a cozy balcony overlooking the garden.

    1. Your response sounds really good! However, there’s a small mistake. The correction should be:

“I live in an extravagant, spacious house in a residential area of the Philippines. It’s a modern and stylish place to live in. I live with my husband and son. It has 4 bedrooms, a functional kitchen, a comfortable living room, and a cozy balcony overlooking the garden.”

Remember, ‘an’ should be used before words beginning with vowels. Also, be sure to use contractions where possible to make it sound more natural in spoken English. Good job overall!

  2. I live in a beautiful and relatively large home which is in the outskirts of Calgary near NE, Whitehorn. It’s a spacious home, which I share with my family. It have 3 bedrooms, one living room and a open-plan kitchen with a serene backyard, where I spent most of my time.

    1. Great job on your response. There’s one small mistake in your answer. Instead of “It have 3 bedrooms,” the correct phrase should be “It has 3 bedrooms.” So, your corrected sentences would be:

“I live in a beautiful and relatively large home which is in the outskirts of Calgary near NE, Whitehorn. It’s a spacious home, which I share with my family. It has 3 bedrooms, one living room, and an open-plan kitchen with a serene backyard, where I spend most of my time.”

Aside from this, your answer was quite good and well-structured. Keep practicing!

  3. well, I live in a beautiful house in Islamabad. I share my house with my parents. It has two bedrooms. I usually spend my time in my bedroom. It’s a peaceful place for me to live in.

    1. Your answer is good overall, but there are a couple of minor improvements I’d suggest:

“Well, I live in a beautiful house in Islamabad. I share this house with my parents. We have two bedrooms and I typically spend most of my time in my room. It’s a peaceful place for me.”

Those are minor suggestions, but your answer was already quite clear and descriptive. Good job!

  4. I live in spacious house. I share the house with my parents, wife, and sbilings. there are two bedrooms, living room and kitchen downstair and four bedrooms upstair. I spend most of my time in my bedroom.

    1. Your answer is very clear, but there are some spelling and grammar mistakes. Here’s a corrected version:

“I live in a spacious house. I share the house with my parents, wife, and siblings. There are two bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen downstairs, and four bedrooms upstairs. I spend most of my time in my bedroom.”

      Mistakes:
      – Remember to use ‘a’ or ‘an’ before singular nouns. So it should be “a spacious house,” not “spacious house”.
      – Be careful with your spelling. It’s “siblings,” not “sbilings.”
      – Use the appropriate prepositions. You had written “downstair and upstair”, it should be “downstairs and upstairs”.

Keep practicing, you’re making good progress!

  5. I live in an old model bungalow in a residential area in Namugongo. I share this 3-bedroom house with my mum and my 2 sisters. It has a cosy sitting room and dinning area. Outside, the house has a boys quarters extension, a feature common in many Ugandan homes. The quarters house our two lovely house helps. In the front just near the gate, there is a small structure for the security guard. I spend most of my time in my bedroom watching lots of series

  6. The apartment where I live is located in west side of the city near Copenhagen, it is a small and cozy apartment.
I share it with my family, my husband and my 3 girls.
It has 2 bedrooms and an open-plan kitchen and the living room.
There is also a balcony overlooking the garden

  7. I live in a three bedroom and one bath apartment located in Armstrong Avenue, the house looks tiny outside but it is spacious inside. I’m sharing the house with my relatives.

    1. Thank you for your response. Your answer is almost perfect, but there’s one small error. Instead of saying “I’m sharing the house with my relatives”, you should say, “I’m sharing the apartment with my relatives”. Remember, a house and an apartment are not the same thing. Here is the corrected sentence:

“I live in a three-bedroom, one-bath apartment located on Armstrong Avenue. The apartment looks tiny from the outside, but it’s spacious inside. I’m sharing the apartment with my relatives.” Keep practicing!

  8. I live in a house on the outskirts of Gulistan. I live with my parents. there are three bedrooms, a living roomand open-plan kitchen. I like spend most of time in the living room, there nobody interupt me to fo my homeworks.

    1. That’s a good start. Here’s a corrected version of your response:

“I live in a house on the outskirts of Gulistan with my parents. There are three bedrooms, a living room, and an open-plan kitchen. I like to spend most of my time in the living room because nobody interrupts me when I’m doing my homework.”

Here are the mistakes I picked out:

      1. Be sure to include spaces between words, like with “living roomand” – it should be “living room and”.

      2. Pay attention to your verb forms. Instead of “I like spend”, it should be “I like to spend”.

      3. Nouns generally don’t need an ‘s’ in English unless they’re plural. So, instead of “homeworks”, it should be “homework”.

Keep practicing and you’ll continue to improve!

  9. I live in a beautiful neighborhood in the suburb,Gwagwalada Abuja. It is an old personal residential house. It is relatively large house and I live there with my husband and children. It comprises of three bedrooms ,very spacious living room, study room, modern kitchen and a lobby.
I love my bedroom the most, it is where I unwind after a stressful day in my workplace.I read ,watch movies and relax there. My home is very convenient because it is close to my workplace and public transport.

    1. Your answer is pretty good, but I spotted a couple of minor mistakes. You could, for instance, add a space after commas and a full stops to make your sentences more grammatically correct. Additionally, it is not necessary to mention that the house is personal in the sentence “It is an old personal residential house”. Let’s make these corrections:

“I live in a beautiful neighborhood in the suburb, Gwagwalada Abuja. It is an old residential house. It’s relatively large and I live there with my husband and children. It comprises of three bedrooms, a very spacious living room, a study room, a modern kitchen, and a lobby. I love my bedroom the most, as it is where I unwind after a stressful day at my workplace. I read, watch movies and relax there. My home is very convenient because it is close to my workplace and public transport.”

Please keep practising, you are doing well!

  10. i live in a spacious house in the center of my town. I live with 2 brothers and my parents, and for additional, a dog. There are 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a comfortable living room, and a small balcony overlooking the beach in the town where i’m living.

    1. Your response is very good but there is a minor correction that can be made. Instead of saying “and for additional, a dog”, you could say “and we also have a dog”. The revised sentence would sound like “I live in a spacious house in the center of my town with my two brothers, my parents, and we also have a dog.”

Everything else in your answer is great, well done!

  11. I live in a cosy apartment on the outskirts of Valencia, near a large greenery area. What I like more of my neighbourhoug is that apart from being a residential area it has a main street full of shops, cafes, and restaurants which makes daily life much more enjoyable. The layout of the apartment consists on two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one living room, and a kitchen which are enough for me, my wife, and my two children. We love our house.

    1. Your answer is almost perfect. Here’s your corrected response:

“I live in a cosy apartment on the outskirts of Valencia, near a large greenery area. What I like most about my neighbourhood is that, apart from being a residential area, it has a main street full of shops, cafes, and restaurants which make daily life much more enjoyable. The layout of the apartment consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, and a kitchen which are enough for me, my wife, and my two children. We love our house.”

      Mistakes:
      1. You said ‘like more of my neighbourhoug’. It should be ‘like most about my neighbourhood’.
      2. There’s a small grammatical error in ‘consists on’. It should be ‘consists of’.
      3. The verb ‘makes’ should agree with the noun ‘shops, cafes, and restaurants’, so it should be ‘make’ instead of ‘makes’.

Great job overall, and keep going!

  12. I live in a beautiful old apartment in the centre of Manila. It is a small and cosy flat which I share with my two other colleagues. There are two bedrooms, a kitchen and a living room, which is where I spent most of my time.

  13. Well, I live in small and comfortable flat in Yaoundé the capital city of Cameroon. I actually live there alone. It’s made up of one parlour, a kitchen and one cosy bedroom where I spend most of my time.

    1. Your response is mostly correct with a couple of small errors. Here’s the revised answer:

“Well, I live in a small and comfortable flat in Yaoundé, the capital city of Cameroon. I actually live there alone. It’s made up of one living room, a kitchen, and one cosy bedroom where I spend most of my time.”

      Remember:

      1) A “parlour” is an old-fashioned term, and it’s not commonly used today. Instead, you can say “living room” or “sitting room”.

      2) Don’t forget to use “a” before “small and comfortable flat”. This is important for clarity and grammatical accuracy.

  14. I live in a relatively large house with 2 storeys. It is in a residential neighbourhood. There are 3 bedrooms, one living room and one kitchen in each storey. I share my house with my family members including my husband, children and in-laws.

    1. Your answer is generally quite good, but there is one small error. Instead of saying “kitchen in each storey”, it should be “kitchen on each storey”. So your corrected sentence is “There are 3 bedrooms, one living room and one kitchen on each storey.” Apart from this, your answer was very clear and concise, good job!

  15. Well, I live in a beautiful old apartment in the center. It’s a tiny apartment, which I shar with my husband and my son. There are one badroom, a comfortable living room ,open- plan kitchen and a cozy balcony overlooking the taller building.

    1. Thanks for your submission. You did well, but let’s correct a few mistakes:

“Well, I live in a beautiful old apartment in the center. It’s a tiny apartment, which I share with my husband and my son. There is one bedroom, a comfortable living room, an open-plan kitchen, and a cozy balcony overlooking the taller building.”

      Here are the mistake highlights:
      1. “shar” should be “share”.
      2. “badroom” should be “bedroom”.
      3. There is unnecessary space before the comma in “living room ,” and “kitchen ,” is missing a space before “an”.

      Keep up the good work!

  16. I live in a small house which is in small township called Dala.It isn’t spacious. I have only one bedroom, kitchen and living room where I spend most of my time to
    finish my work.

    1. The student’s response is quite good. However, there’s a minor mistake. Also, the usage of tenses could be improved for clarity. Here’s the corrected version:

“I live in a small house in a small township called Dala. It isn’t very spacious. I only have one bedroom, a kitchen, and a living room where I spend most of my time finishing my work.”

      1. The phrase “which is in” is not incorrect, but it sounds more fluent to say “in a small township called..”.
      2. It is more precise to say “I only have one bedroom, a kitchen, and a living room” because the words ‘one’, ‘a’ and ‘and’ help clarify what we are talking about.
      3. It is better to use the present continuous tense “finishing” when talking about an action that is happening now or that we do regularly.

  17. I live in a modern and stylish apartment in the center of Ilam. It’s a relatively large apartment, which I stay at home with my parents. There are two spacious bedrooms, a comfortable living room and a open-plan kitchen.also there is a small balcony overlooking the Main Street.

    1. Your answer is quite good but needs a few minor adjustments to improve clarity. Here’s the corrected version:

“I live in a modern and stylish apartment in the center of Ilam. It’s a relatively large apartment, where I stay with my parents. There are two spacious bedrooms, a comfortable living room, and an open-plan kitchen. Also, there’s a small balcony that overlooks the main street.”

There were notable corrections you should take note of:
      1. Instead of saying “which I stay at home with my parents”, it’s clearer to say, “where I stay with my parents.”
      2. Remember to include ‘and’ before the last item in a series. In this case, between ‘living room’ and ‘open-plan kitchen’.
      3. Don’t forget to use “an” before words that start with a vowel sound like ‘open’.
      4. Use “that” instead of “is” to introduce the balcony overlooking the main street. This constructs a better sentence flow. Keep practicing!

  18. I live in wonderful apartment on the outskirts of Trabzon. It’s relatively large apartment, which l share with my wife. There are Tow bedroom, a living room and a small balcony overlooking the main street it has a view the green mountains.

    1. Thanks for providing your answer. It was quite good, but there are a few mistakes you need to correct. Here is the corrected version:

“I live in a wonderful apartment on the outskirts of Trabzon. It’s a relatively large apartment, which I share with my wife. There are two bedrooms, a living room, and a small balcony overlooking the main street. It has a view of the green mountains.”

      So the mistakes were:

      1. You missed out the article ‘a’ before ‘wonderful apartment’ and ‘relatively large apartment’.
      2. It should be ‘I’, not ‘l’.
      3. ‘Tow’ should be ‘two’.
      4. You need to use ‘of’ after ‘view’.

      Keep up the good work!

  19. “I live in a small, cozy flat in a beautiful old apartment building located in a residential neighborhood on the east side of the city, and I share it with my wife and children. It has a spacious dining room, a bedroom, and a modern kitchen. “I spend most of my time in the dining room because I find it relaxing and enjoyable, especially since we have a large TV screen to share with my family. And also, there is a small balcony overlooking the main street.

    1. Your answer is quite good, and your grammar use is pretty spot on! There’s just a small employment of repetition with the phrase “share with my family”. Here’s a correct version:

“I live in a small, cozy flat in a beautiful old apartment building located in a residential neighborhood on the east side of the city, which I share with my wife and children. It has a spacious dining room, a bedroom, and a modern kitchen. I spend most of my time in the dining room because I find it relaxing and enjoyable, especially since we have a large TV screen there. Also, there is a small balcony overlooking the main street.”

Keep practicing. You’re doing a great job so far!

  20. I live in a small and cosy flat on the outskirts of my city. It’s a bright and cheerful home, which I share with my dad and my sister. There are three bedrooms, a living room and a small balcony overlooking the main street, which is where I spend most of my time and feel comfortable.
