I’m going to talk to you about a sport that I would like to practise and this would definitely be snooker.

Why I would choose this sport?
Oh well, because in my opinion it is a very delicate and elegant sport. It is held in a huge hall full with spectators and the players wear smart clothes, for example black suits and white shirts, this being like a compulsory dress code. I haven’t seen any sport with such an amazing attitude regarding clothes. Moreover, the game is very soft and challenging and this is what I really find interesting about it. it requires many hours for training, trying to push softly the ball to the hole. it is something which has to deal with focus and accuracy. I remember when I was younger I used to watch this game with my father and I was incredibly fascinated. I would do this daily but the sport programme was only at the weekend. In addition to what I previously mentioned, I consider attractive about this sport is the good performance, I guess it is almost impossible to be such a good player to become the number one in the world.
If I had known that winning a game could be such an amazing feeling as I saw on a TV, I would have learnt this sport in my early childhood.
However, I plan for the future to have more spare time so I can learn the basic strategies in snooker at least for fun or as a hobby, who knows, perhaps I would find it more interesting as a player rather than a spectator. One thing that I would also want to do before starting to learn snooker is to go to a real game, to feel the emotions and the suspense of the players. I hope that by the end of the year I will have joined a live game, at least!
