I am going to talk about an outdoor sport, I would like to try. I actually love beach, I enjoy spending time on beach of whole day especially when the nice weather. In my country I haven’t often been to the beach but when I went there, I like to play with water for the whole day because in Thailand have a warm weather. I saw many people was playing surfing and it looked fun. After I have been living in Australia since 2018, in Melbourne which is surrounded by beaches. Even though I have many chances to try this sport, the weather in Melbourne quite too cold for me and it is hard for me to go surfing. Last few months ago, I went to Torquay, which is located in Victoria far away from Melbourne around one and half hour drive. Torquay is a good destination for surfing for some one who live in Victoria and no chance to go another state like Queensland which is warmer than Victoria. My friends and I went there by car. My friend was a driver. We arrived there around 11 am and we had some breakfast there, just next to the beach. We saw a surfing school and they was teaching their students to surf in their board. They taught on land first especially on sand next to the water about how to lay correctly on the surfing board, what the posture should be and then the jumped into a water which was not too deep and played with their board within a group of students and some observation from their teacher. We looked at them around an hour because I am interested to play this sport since I was in Thailand. That day the weather quite nice and not too cold, a lot of wave but not too high. It was quite good if I would try this sport but because it was only a day trip and we planed to visit many beaches around there so we will visiting Torquay again next summer which is the weather might warmer and I am interested to take a course from a surfing school and learn a basic how to use a surfing board. Although I may only lay on the surfing board and can’t stand on the board like someone who has a lot of experience on surfing can do, I can’t wait until next summer. I am so excited to surf for the first time.
