I enjoy watching tennis when people like Serena Williams play. Some of my friends who are into outdoor sports have inspired me to try tennis as a hobby. I am determined to give it a-go for the first time, and see if I will enjoy it.
I would like to keep myself active by trying tennis at our local tennis club in Te Atatu peninsula in New Zealand near where I live. I would like to meet other people who have the same interests as I do, and try the new challenges of playing tennis. Tennis makes encourages you to constantly focus on the ball and your opponent in order to get the grip of the game, and be successful. I have been interested in netball, but now I think it’s time to try something new like tennis.
Outdoor sports is exciting, you breathe fresh air, and you can play on different courts. The other advantage is that, when you are a beginner, the instructors put you in pairs with players who are beginning to play tennis. I would prefer weekends, especially in the morning would be my best option for playing tennis.
Playing outdoor sports on Saturday and Sunday morning would be ideal for me. I would enjoy participating in active sport like tennis when it is cooler outside, even though it doesn’t help much. When you run around, one still gets very hot, despite the time of the day. After the practice, you can go back home and relax. It also depends on the availability of time during the week. Sometimes, when you get used and enjoy the sports, you certainly want to do it everyday.
I guess everything takes practice, with time it would be worthwhile for choosing tennis for the first time. It is fun to explore new avenues that you have not been, just to satisfy your ego. I mean that, we learn new things by pushing ourselves to the limit.
I would certainly be beneficial to engage and learn new tennis skills just for enjoyment and keeping yourself healthy. Exercises like tennis would help your heart keep in shape.
