The process diagram provides information about how to produce a bottle of wine. Overall, there are 8 steps in this process, beginning with picking grapes and processing, and culminating in supermarket. Residual waste is produced in three different stages.
Firstly, 400 grapes, which are picked, need to wait for those to ripe. In this stage, grapes can produce 3000ml of grape juices and also the residual waste, which is sent to be composted. After juices have been made, those juices need to ferment for 2 weeks.
After fermentation, ripe grapes have been sent to be pressed. In this stage, waste is composted and liquid has sent to be filtered. Filter system is also produce waste to be composted. The filtered liquid is left in barrels for a period of time before the wine is bottled. Finally, once the wine has been bottle, which contains 750ml in a single bottle, it is sent to supermarket to be sold.
